Claripoint - Remote Financial Advice Made Easy

Why our system

No software download

Many web collaboration systems in the market require a download of software to make some or all of their features work.

Downloads are fine when information is being exchanged in a controlled environment, where the specification of the machine is known in advance, and is permitted to receive the software download.

However, in a B2C environment every customer's PC will be different, and a software download will significantly increase the risk of the client failing to receive an online presentation.

Many customers want to receive a remote advice presentation during the daytime. Many of these customers are in work, wanting to receive advice during their lunch break. It is quite likely that their PC is protected by a firewall in this instance, and there is a significant risk that the presentation will not work if a download is required.

Another risk of presentation failure is due to the customer's web browser not being set up to receive software components.

There is also a significant risk that a software download would take too long because 68% of the market are not on a broadband connection.

A due diligence report was undertaken on Virtual Advisor on the 20th July 2006 by Centia. It stated:

"Claripoint Virtual Advisor appears on paper compared with Citrix Go and Microsoft Net Meeting to provide the same functionality as the other 2 products, but without the need for a client download.

This would be impressive to offer real time screen sharing without the need for any client end software or web browser components"

Claripoint Virtual Advisor works without a software download and is the only system tailored specifically for the financial services market.
